Some people don't want to install mods. The reasons should be fairly obvious.

That's the point of the mod installer. Takes out the hassle, and you wouldn't even know they're there unless you're playing creative mode and scroll down the list.

Not really, mods will only work if the server has them. So if you're on another server then it will be like vanilla mc.

@clue, if you're stupid enough to try to install with other mods, and then your game breaks, don't come crying to me. The modpack would be tested to work fine with a vanilla install.
