Hrrm.
I have a few ideas, on how to use checks and balances.

[This one is full of debate]
Strength: Demon's don't hunger
Weakness: They don't regenerate health.(Sprinting is unlimited, due to the common depiction of Demon's having wings, therefore being able to glide or somethun' (This is full of debate)

AND/OR

Strength: Demon's have 1-2 extra health
Weakness: When killed, demons respawn in nether, cannot use /back

AND/OR

Strenght:Demons can summon a single imp (Could be Blaze) (Materials to summon shouldn't be easy to find)
Strength: Demons don't get attacked by mobs
Weakness: Demons lose 3 hearts when this occurs (And it does not come back unless eating a golden apple/Health potion.)

AND/OR
Strength: Demons can use rudimentary fire-related Magic
Strength: Demons are immune to fire(Not to lava tho)
Weakness: Demons cannot do other Magic AT ALL.
Weakness: Demons have less underwater breath.

These are just the basic checks I thought of, they could be refined IMO.

I think if they are damaged by water that would be a reason for them not to be enemies with the Jaska. If they are damaged by water, the Jaska would be almost completely safe from them, leading to a lack of conflict between them, leading to lack of hate. When the world burns, the Jaska walk the oceans.

I really like that idea... Plus, the demons would need the jaska to take them across bodies of water.

Except that when, we, the demons burn the world, the Eart's oceans may evaporate.
But actually, as demons, we could, technically, freeze the Earth's ocean, except that they are slatwater, but then again this is Minecr-

I hate, when people, use lots, of commas, in places, that don't, need commas, and it, makes them, sound out, of breath, and then, they keep, their sentences, going on, FOREVER AND, IT MAKES, ME WANT, TO BAN, THEM FROM, THE FORUMS.
