From here on out whenever you are walking the streets of the Wora city do not be surprised when you see a man with no face. This entity is called the kings shadow. His job is to ward off all who threaten the good Wora people and to serve as the kings personal assistant/bodyguard. If you hear a familiar voice don't be surprised.

I don't know about all of you guys, but I thought that the name "The King's Shadow" was pretty bad-ass. Anyway, there are no Woras other than Arkio and myself, and Arkio resigned as king for some reason.

Hardly. In fact, his reason for stepping down was (supposedly) that he would bring too much war to the woras people as king.

Billy kinda said it. He reassigned because his old master (yes he used to be a slave) had found Skalas and would kill anyone on his way to get his slave back. Like Billy said he didn't want to bring war because his master has many connections with many important people (aka kings, governors, generals, mercenaries, etc.)
