1. You need wood to make boats, but you do not need jungle wood, and I wouldn't want jungle wood because it would be a pain in the Nickleback to chop down a jungle tree.
2. You could probably make a stone boat that works. If people can make boats out of metal, they can probably do it with stone.

But you need advanced technology to make most metal boats work.
And one jungle tree is the equivalent of many, many other trees.
I am also entitled to mine own opinions, and as we do not need jungle wood, I believe Jungle Wood looks best.

You do not need advanced technology, just a lot of metal and a large furnace. Perhaps constructing a massive shipyard could be an RP event?

Except you do, because you need a way to convert something into energy, and as no one knows anything about the conversion of industrial energy, we cannot build large metallic boats.
Maybe we could RP an event that creates such technology?

In minecraft, I shall remind that these things are possible:
1. Furnaces convert things into energy, that cook/smelts other thins.
2. Fire converts combustible blocks into light energy.
3. Assuming experience is a kind of energy, mobs are partially converted into energy when killed
And also specific to praecentiathaghag you can convert redstone into magical energy.

But none of those thing can apply to a metal boat, as we do not burn metal, we do not use light energy (Probably to advanced for Ash's tastes), and Jaskans are not very good mages, so that would go against them.
