“You wake up. Don't know where you are, or how you got there. You have two choices, go through the forest in front of you, or back to the endless sea behind.” [dramatic pause as filmer looks at ocean]
“Better start walking.”
[break in narration as filmer starts walking through the forest]
“The forest seems endless, but you keep walking. You come upon a massive tree, not something you were expecting. You see an elf atop it, and you are about to say hello”
[elf on tree shoots off a few lightning bolts]
“You think better of it, and continue on your way. Through the cracks in the forest, you see a stone town sitting on a lake shore. It looks old, covered in vines, and no one is there that you can see. Looking around the town is empty, but you spot one of those sea faring Jaska folks messing with his boat at the docks. You walk over and chat with him, and he offers you a ride to the deserts, say there's some friendly people up at a place called Thal-Thar. You hop on his boat and he sets sail.”
[Filmer looks back at the human city, and then moves his gaze to the underwater Jaska village]
“He pulls up along the desert coast, and gives you directions to where you need to go.”
[Ruar Muois is carefully kept out of shot]
“You wander a little, and in the distance you see a great wall of sandstone. Behind it flames rise. Suddenly, a wora runs past you. Speedy buggers, and smiths like nobody's business. You decide if he was running out of there, you don't want to go in.”
[Just the filmer walking towards Thal-Thar for a little here]
“As you make your way across the land you hear that tell-tale hiss behind you. You turn around right into the face of a creeper. You punch it, turn around, and sprint for you life. You see the lights of what you hope is Thal-Thar, but much closer is a small fort. You rush towards it, and enter through the door, hastily shutting it behind you. You stop and catch your breath, but for some reason you can't. You find you cannot breathe, and as you slowly fade into blackness you see a dark figure approach you.”
[Screen would obviously fade to black]
“You wake up. You are at the entrance to a sandstone building, but it looks ruined and inside the ground is blood red and flying yellow demons are everywhere! On the other side you see a group walking in, led by a tall well built human. He charges in, a sword in one hand and magic in the other, chopping a line through the demons. The elf you saw before is casting spells left and right. The wora from before is flanking the demons, finishing off the enemies his allies are facing head on. The Jaska that gave you the boat ride has a cutlass in one hand and a pistol like contraption in the other, alternately cutting down foes are shooting them with lightning from the gun. But as you watch paralyzed with fear dark and grotesque creatures appear and slay the warriors. A portal appears in the center, with a large, evil looking demon behind it. It smiles at you, and you are unable to resist as you are drawn into the portal. You enter the swirling purple portal, and find yourself in a land of lava and fire. Disgusting and evil-looking creatures are everywhere, and they are all looking at you. You stand, staring in horror, when you feel a sharp pain and look down to see a blade protruding from your chest. You slump forward, and everything fades into blackness.”
[Screen re-appears, looking up, then the filmer looks down to see they are falling from very high up]
“You are falling! But hey, you aren't dead. Well, at least for the next 20 seconds.”
[filmer is falling from above Arithul, and manages to miss the bridges and lands in the water below it]
“Well look at that, you aren't dead. So you get up and swim to the shore. Above you see bridges between two mountains with buildings suspended and stilted all over, and they appear to be bustling with activity. Maybe you have found somewhere you can live and be free.”
“Or not.”
“Better start walking.”
