So, i'm back after a long time because of this exact situation, the server died, as it apparently has twice before, why don't we all just have a server and roleplay, no bundries, no storylines, be free for a while and maybe it will sprout into something glorious? Just an idea btw

^^. This is one of the things I feel was the problem.

Everyone of us had our own seperate vision for an RP server. We all imagined it differently, and we all tried as best we could to make it work. Some were successful, like TJRP 2.0 or Skalas. (Shut up, Scud.) I feel that one of the problems was me:

1) I tried too hard to appease everyone. I didn't try to stick with any one plan, leading to problems.
2) I left key issues unattended for so long people ignored them and took it for granted, leading to arguments later on. (Looking at admins here.)
3) I didn't interact with the people as much as I should have, and didn't try and get much of a feel for how things worked. I just fixed bugs in the broken system.

I feel 1 was one of the major points. I was too nice, too kind to y'all. You guys were my friends. You all had your ups and downs, but hell, all friends do. I wasn't strict enough in enforcing the RP rules and ideas I had planned from the start for Skalas. I let Umune sway my ideas, sometimes for better, sometimes for worse. I let you guys suggest plugins which went against my original decisions.

TL;DR: We all had our own ideas, and our admin (me) was too kind to stick to any one idea, leading to ruin.

okay i have been reading about this server and i made an account 2 help u out.

imagine theres this village with people living in it, and u r the king and every1 does what u say. so u think ur pretty nice so u open this new burger place called 'really miserable burgers'. and every1 smells the miserable burgers and they r like 'yoyo who opened this fool burger place' and bc ur so nice u say 'yaya it will be open forever'. so naturally every1 is mad at u. and one guy called 'ducks' tries to burn it down, so u drop a nuke on the village and kill every1.


ok all of u right now r probably like baller gosh golly r u talking about? well imagine the 'village' is 'skalas' and the 'really miserable burgers' is 'rm' and 'ducks' is 'scud.

And because nobody's going to see this post either, I'll go ahead and assert that if I hadn't been with Ash in RM, it would have just been Magic. But still just as bad.

::edit:: To relieve all confusion, I'm going to point out that baller IS Scud. But you could probably figure that out anyway.
