I agree, people should believe in the gods ( if they want) and worship them and build altars and murder each other about them, but the gods shouldn't actually do anything. We should also name them at some point.

I was thinking. I saw a plugin a while back, where building altars to the gods would give you powers and protect those regions with the power of the gods. I'm not suggesting that plugin, but the idea behind godly powers is a good one.

Can we add the moon to the Jaska God? It would work well with my moon mystic stuff, and it makes a lot of sense. That is, if you know how tides work.

I don't know, I kind of like that idea. Obviously, we shouldn't over do it, but IMO godly powers are cool. Small powers would be good, like temporary faster block breaking at the human alter, or a temporary smaller cost multiplier at the elf alter.

Blessing conferred upon devout followers of a god? Why is that a bad thing? It's been done in many RPG's, (ex: Skyrim).
It's just an idea, what do the others think about it?

Just mildly amusing myself while reading this debate. In all honesty, I think that the gods should be defined but not actually have any tangible effects other than giving people something to work with.
