Then type in "cd <Wherever you keep minecraft.jar>". NOTE: This REQUIRES the Linux jar, not the Windows EXE. Don't worry, the linux jar works on windows too.

Well turns out my game still crashes and displays the message even with the vanilla texture pack so and Instill have no clue what you guys are talking about.

Oh, it crashes with every pack? Then you need to run the game with the render distance on normal instead of far. That should fix it.

Well I had the render distance in normal and it worked fine until I wonder off somewhere then it crashes even in a 32 resolution pack ash if you help me I would be grateful I'll even message you where minecraft is on my laptop if it helps.

Which operating system do you have? I used to have this problem too. My game "Ran Out of Memory" ever couple minutes, it was extremely annoying.

The way you fix this is to make sure that you have the right Java version for your architecture. That is, you need 64-bit java for 64-bit architecture.
