Why do we need more humans than any other race? It doesn't exactly make perfect sense to me. Here are some reasons why. - Humans are least likely to survive a long ocean voyage (Woras generally not going through that voyage, Jaska being mer-men, Elves being able to magically protect themselves and demons being all powerful malevolent beings.)
- Humans have very mundane special abilities, but they have very few disabilities, that being said, humans are also unlikely to piece together an efficient way of working and living.
- And thirdly, some, and possibly many, people do not like to be humans, mainly because they already are humans, and would like to see the world in the eyes of a completely different being.
So I would be much obliged if you would provide a valid reason for the fact that humans need to have a majority in the demographics of Skalas.

Quantity. More humans = more chances for survival = more humans

But, going from some basic ideas of humans (As we do not have much lore about humans) are mainly a species that does not move far away from their homes, and generally do not go exploring, or enter occurences that would put them into a situation that would allow them to be transported to Skalas.

Hmmm... What if human lands are farther than elf lands? Thus making the chance for elves ending up on skalas higher and making them higher in population.

Well we would need lore that properly dictates that. /me whispers to Flaming, Write some lore on that.

I actually agree with Clue. We don't need humans, especially a large number of them. They're too stereotypical.

Humans are needed because they proc the most RP. They tend to live in clusters with other races, and clustered people tend to RP more. Right now, the human village is next to both the Jaska village and the Elven village, making them the center of RP.

Well, thats only because we put them there, if we ever have to start another RP server, remember that humans are unneeded.

When it comes to fantasy, a category that this server falls into, this is completely wrong. Humans always have the shortest lifespan among any race, and therefore are always the most adventurous (besides non-Tolkien halflings.) Compared to the other races, their society and culture change at drastic rates. They also breed like rabbits compared to the other races. That is true in all fantasy I have ever read, which is a lot, and I'm pretty sure is true here.

Well, in all the fanatasy I have ever read, humans are docile beings that work on farms, or live life in cities.

For every hundred elves, there is perhaps one adventurer among them. For every hundred humans, there is anywhere from 5-20. Also given the fact that for every hundred elves there are probably around 5,000 humans, we can deduce that there are a poo poo-ton of humans who put themselves in situations that would make them end up in Skalas. Jaska only ended up here because I came here on purpose, and Scud got his boat wrecked by a sea monster. And the wora are here because they live on this continent, which you could use to make an argument for people being mostly wora. So those are your choices: Human, or wora.

Well, thats only because we put them there, if we ever have to start another RP server, remember that humans are unneeded. We didn't put them there. I simply built a house. Everyone moved to surround me, because I was a human and the center of RP. It was the same way with Isotoran and Nova.
