A little side note:
I am noticing a trend, I try out one race, which in TJRP was the emmergents, I fail in it somehow (I wasn't even gone for the time it was being destroyed), and then try to get a different race (Animists) and get rejected, and I always ultimately end up as a human.
In this server it ended up as: Woras (I got forcefully abdicated), Elves (Rejection) and then this.

Bio:
Twenty six years ago, on a late winter's eve, a child was born into the Fletcher household, and was named Ariel. So begins the tales of Ariel Fletcher.
When Ariel was only a lass of 6, her town of Solum was attacked by the armies of Archos, and, despite the efforts of he Solum militia, the town was burnt down. Ariel's father died in the attack, but she and her mother escaped to Stort, the port town. Aged eight years, Ariel became apprenticed to the innkeep, Sarus the Kind. She learned the Arts of The Inn, and grew a small living as an innkeep herself, well, that was until the mountain exploded.
At age 17, Ariel witnessed Mt. Stargust explode into a fiery mass. Those who had sense ran out of the town and away from the mountain, at this age, Ariel had no sense, only curiosity, so she attempted to climb Mt. Stargust, she, quite surprisingly, was able to make it to the peak, where she discovered that it was not actually a volcanic eruption, but instead a battle between two mages, as bolts of lightning and fireballs passed between the two, Ariel was only able to pick out a few phrases. Eventually one wizard fell, and the other left. Ariel left her hiding spot and went to examine the mage.
She saw he was near death, and took him home to nurse him to health, when she got back to Stort, she found it empty. She nursed the mage, and carried him to bed, knowing he would not live. She then retired to her own bed, and fell asleep. In the middle of the night, a strange flash of light and an odd noise woke Ariel up. She discovered instead of a mage, a pile of dust, and a beautiful crystal. She took the crystal, and examined it, she discovered it pulsed with life, and nearly dropped it in surprise, she put the crystal to her ear, and it hovered momentarily there, before writhing out of her hands and, of it's own volition, diving to her chest, instead of simply hitting her chest, it was sucked into it, and traversed to her heart. A strange sense pulsed through Ariel's veins, and she felt knowledge of magic and alchemy course through her veins, and she realized that the crystal must have been the mage's heart. She decided to travel to Starkholm and refine her skills. She enrolled into the College of the Elements, and learned many things, she graduated at the age of 23, and one day, when traveling the streets of the fine capital, bumped into a woman. As she aided the woman recover, she discovered it was her mother, her mother dressed in fine clothes and looking as if she was a Queen, which Ariel later learned, she was in fact a Queen. .Ariel met her step-father, Gormus the III, and lived with them for 2 more years. Then Gormus decided Ariel must be married to the prince of Archos, to establish peace between the warring nations. Ariel was appalled to being sold for peace, especially to the people who murdered her father! So she simply ran off, taking an alchemy set, her college spellbook, and some food and simple clothing. One year of survival training she took, and then she decided to leave the continent of Orkus altogether, she took boats to differing continents and she always brought those same article from her castle life in a knapsack. On one voyage, they were halfway to destination, when the boat suddenly rocked, and 6 gruesome tentacles flung out from the ocean. 3 grasped the boat, tearing it into two pieces, and 3 others grasped poor sea-fares, and the beast ate them alive. Ariel was flung from the boat and landed on a piece of flotsam. When the next wave of tentacles came, Ariel was one of the unlucky people to get sucked into the monster's mouth, knapsack and all, for three days and three nights, Ariel avoided digestion, and searched for any magical objects. On the third night, Ariel discovered a chest of a magical red dust, and after many spells and incantation, slew the monster. Ariel used the monster's corpse as a form of ship, and sailed off. Later Ariel dozed off, and when she next awoke, she found herself clutching her knapsack, and a single bone from the great beast, and on the shores of world that pulsed with magical energies. She knew where she was from her intensive studies, she was in Skalas, a land that appeared to those that were lost at sea, and only those with an important, but terrible destiny, whether that destiny ended on Skalas, or changed the world, it mattered not. She was in an exciting, but dangerous new world. Oddly enough, she though she saw the glow of a small village emanating from behind the hills.
