Artist's rendition of the Toyecan Capital City-State, Daxtoon. Toyeca is was a continent that lies approximately halfway across the globe from Skalas. Toyeca is was famous - or perhaps infamous - for it's industrialization. Nearly every building is was made from copper, bronze, or even iron. This is was most profound in the capital city, Daxtoon, also known as the "Bronze Fortress". It's believed that Toyeca was founded around 700 years ago by Metra Toiec. ((Removed the unwanted Star Trek reference)) Toiec was born with a disability that prevented him from using magic, so he founded his city on the premise of science and he taught his followers that magic was a gamble with death. These teaching resonated throughout Toyeca as it aged and expanded. 270 years ago, Toyecan scientists perfected Steam Power, resulting in a golden age of science and construction. Rather than expand outward, the Toyecan cities decided to expand upward instead, resulting in steeples and belfries that pierced the sky like spikes. The residents of "Modern"-Day Toyeca live(d) in a very crowded environment, and generally aren't weren't very social. They (usually) also view(ed) magic as pure evil, and more than a few would-be necromancers have been brutally murdered. Many of the iron buildings are were partially rusted out - and so have the steam pipes running through them. Because of this, The threat of city-wide or even continent-wide catastrophic failures are were a very real possibility... The Truth Stands Revealed: img862.imageshack.us/img862/3273/toyecaruins.png

This looks quite good. The one thing is that I'm not sure that ash wanted steam power or machinery to exist yet, but I could be wrong. Remember, now that you've written this you'll have to start incorporating this into RP. Good job

I'm fine with this super advanced civilization to have them, but in Skalas, I doubt that we have the technology. This seems good, nice work, bro.

Although there may be horrible ruins of terrible, but magnificent machinery. . . Completely unusable though.

So, this city is kind of steampunk, right?

Exactly; I wanted to make Toyeca seem like a Steampunk Dystopia that was/is on it's way to self-destruction.

Indeed, the Toyeca Continent is named after a fictional toy car. Yes, I am insane.

That picture has a distinct lack of bronze... considering how the whole continent is named "The Bronze Continent" and all.

The Great Collapse made them rethink their building materials.

I hope you have read the Implementing RP thread. I suggest we build this city.
