Hi, I'm Miria, I come from an island far far away, I was part of an organisation of mercenaries without a name, we called it the clan, they (our employers) didn't care, they just wanted the job done. We carried it out, whatever it was, a killing, a heist or just a message to deliver.
The clan consists of a facility for training recruits and managing the 30 active "killers". The rest was waiting to replace a dead warrior. Members of the clan never had a choice, they were taken by the clan and trained as a kid, forced to learn to fight, decieve and get stuff done. There was a leaderboard, i was seventh, known for my skills with ranged weapons such as knives and arrows. The clan made us think this island was the only land in this world, that if we tried to leave we would end up back here. They told us a lot of stuff... They tried to keep these lies secret, I was in the clan for quite a while and that me a target, I knew too much, I figured it out.
As soon as i learned about all these lies, I escaped, took a fishing boat and made the fisher in it to sail as far away as he could... We could barely survive the trip, but fortunatey, this was a fishing boat, and we had the means to get food, After a while, the fisherman died, then, I hit land, and here I am, in a strange land I never knew even existed.
