@scud, this is how we're fixing it. Giving non magic people magically animated weapons for them to use without needing to know the spell.

Its not like it is an actual pistol. Its a metal tube with a diamond on the end and some redstone in it that shoots fulmen. Its probably less advanced then things already existing in minecraft.

To reiterate what blob said:
It's a praecantatio-spell enchantment for an item. Not much different than existing enchantments, considering there's a fire enchantment already. This basically RP opens it up for the magic of the server, rather than just the Minecraft style of magic.
