How did you find out about this server: Goo_The_Splat informed me about an RP Minecraft server in which I was instantly intrigued in the entire community/server.

RP Name: Desarus Tha'lar

Bio:
Appearance: Blonde hair, not extremely long though hidden within a hood. Green garments with a ready quiver slung around his back. His bow wields many scars along the structure.
Desarus Tha'lar was merely doing his daily tasks of providing food for his village, collecting wood for housing, riches for his Supreme Ruler when his companion Wolf, Thus (pronounced Fu-oos) catched a scent upon his snout. Thus sprinted down the grass conquered lands to reach the shoreline. The critter leaped into the ocean in where Desarus decided to follow, next thing that Desarus sees is an unknown shoreline, awaiting his new adventure and to find his companion.

(I know that the Elf race is closed at the current moment in time though I am extremely confident about my RP and thus I wish for you to make the tiny exception for one more in the Elven culture of this server. Many thanks for reading ^.^ ~Des)

Great bio, if it was up to me, I would make space in my ranks for 1 more elf because with my previous past with this guy Rp-wise, he is a very great roleplayer and is great to roleplay with, he is very passionate about the elf race and I think he would be a great addition to the elven community.

True, I totally agree, apparently Blob has already recommended the server to 4 more people, and i've invited 2 more other than des to this server, im sure with all those people a few gaps would be open to elves

Hey, I'm Umune, one of the three admins; the other two are Ashtheking and Splamzloard.
You put us in a strange position. While we happily accept people capable of good RP, Elves are closed, based on old population numbers. In addition, there is the matter of Samax2000, who also applied to be an Elf. While you did acknowledge that you had read the race descriptions and he did not, we still have told quite a few people to reapply. Though Goo has spoken very highly of you, there is a precedent. Through all of this, the server has recently expanded greatly, possibly allowing for more of the exotic races (elves, demons). If it were purely my call, I would say yes, citing your recommendation.
Ultimately, the admins make decisions by voting - two votes needed.
In the meantime, I'm going to whitelist you so you can look around the server, see what's going on - be an unseen observer.
