RP Name: Berem_Blueleaf (I use it everywhere)
Age: 86
Race: Jaska
Bio: Berem was raised on the sea, his father and mother both sailors on the same ship. He grew up on ships, his feet didn't touch land until he was 6. He grew up fishing and helping the sailors, and so knows much about ships. He has also learned the wisdom of the sailors and the sea. When he was 32 he bought his own ship, and was a captain for many years, finally retiring at the age of 64. Him and his crew had many adventurers, from hunting pirates to finding lost treasure. It is rumored that on his final journey he found the fountain of youth, and that is how he has maintained his strength into his old age.
MOAR STORY:
The Korsan. Enemy of the Jaska, and by extent enemy of Berem. Berem didn't like structured wars, too many rules for the fighting. But he loved his people, and so he joined the fight. For most of the war he did more work moving supplies around than fighting battles, but no one could escape the last battle. Him and his crew fought bravely among the rest, unaware of the Jaska plot to sabotage the human navy. The battle was hard, and good men were lost, but the Jaska and Human came out the victors. Of course, this also happened at the same time the great barge left the Jaska lands to be free of the Slex Dominion. Berem had always been loyal to the Moon Goddess, and would've gone if he had the chance. It turned out, he did. On his way back to the Jaska Lands he encountered a navy boat headed out towards sea. They pulled up alongside each other, and the other ship's captain told Berem that they were chasing the Great Barge as it had left without permission from the Jaska Government and was attempting to escape. Hearing the story, brave Captain Blueleaf had to act. He offered to help the navy ship, and as they were sailing along his crew set up the cannons. When questioned Berem told the other captain it was a drill they did to be prepared, and there were no further inquiries. That is until Berem's ship fired on the navy vessel's sails. Berem and his crew leapt aboard the other ship. Berem fought the other ship's captain, and kicked him overboard off the side of the ship. Many of the ship's crew defected to Captain Blueleaf, as they were also loyal followers of the Moon Goddess. The rest were left on their boat without sails. Berem sailed ahead and eventually reached the great barge, where he was hailed as a hero. The Great Barge was divided into sections, and he became leader of the South-West quarter (which didn't always point south-west, but that's just semantics). When the Barge returned to the Jaska Lands Berem handed down his leadership and went back to his life of adventuring on the high seas. It was on a trip looking for new lands and trade routes that he encountered Skalas. A crew member threatened Berem, telling Berem to leave the ship quietly or the evil crew member would kill Berem's sister, who lived on the Great Barge.
