I have stated that this is a "King Arthur" level of fantasy, meaning there is magic, but it is rare. So we need the ability for a Merlin like character, and perhaps an evil version too. So I thought, how do we do this without doing something ridiculous and OP like one person with praecentatio. And I figured it out!
So every month the wizard and necromancer would be granted some mob eggs (I believe they are one shots in survival). Each would have a range of creatures they could choose from, and would have a total of 64(subject to change) eggs. That would be there magic, summoning things, and other magic they did would just be RPed, like changing appearance (Change skin and name).
Wizard: Could choose from all passive mobs (minus villagers), as well as wolves and golems. Would also be the only person besides me allowed to use /me twinkles fingers
Necromancer: Could choose from zombies, zombie pigmen, both spider types, slimes, skeletons, and ghasts (which would have a cap of 1 ghast egg)
They would mix and match their eggs to their liking. The eggs would have to be used in RP of course.
Thoughts?

Alchemy is actually planned to be the craft of mob slayers, because we are not going to have a nether so we are going to give monsters a rare chance of dropping nether potion ingredients. Enchanting: Sure, makes enchanted things more rare. Maybe wizard gets XP potions as well
