Umune and I were talking, and decided that we'd have a running whitelist on the MC Forums. Having a whitelist there means our thread isn't buried as fast, and stays at a decent level.
We will be harsher in our whitelistings there than those who apply here. That means rejections of those who cannot use a keyboard properly for a decent conversation.
I'm thinking we'll post in this thread every day with who we whitelist.
Ideas, comments? We'll probably start tomorrow.

The bio section on here is easy to moderate because it is in its own separate space. On an MC forums post you just have to look through pages to find the bios, which will be surrounded by comments about things unrelated to the bios, and is just a mess every time I have seen it attempted.

But the MC forum post will only be about whitelists. After they get whitelisted, they get on here and you guys check out their bio on the MC forums for reference.

Also, if they make their bios there they will not see the lore thread, or any current happenings on the server

blob, this is why I feel you are a bad admin. You are unopen to ideas of others and defend yours strongly. You say you won't help the other admins just because you dislike the idea yourself. An MC forum post is the best way to advertise the server if you want more than ten consistent players. Good riddance.

I fully agree there should be MC forum posts. However, I do not think we should run the whitelist off of them. And yes, I defend my ideas strongly, but I am not unopen to other ideas. In fact, I am open to most ideas, except for this one, and your one.

I think it's a good idea, we'll get plenty of more users. I can advertise this place on Reddit as well, but we probably won't get that many from there.
