A short biography of your character:
Once the son of a dwarven cheiftain, Zebediah loved to explore. Unfortunately for him, his forays into the forest attracted the attention of wolves. One night, Zebediah was feeling particularly bold, and under the cover of a full moon, he went further than he had ever wandered before. His sinister shadows the wolves followed him.
After a few hours of walking, Zebediah came upon a clear pool of water. It was sparkling and the moon shone off it like a perfect mirror. The wolves, who had followed him there, saw their chance and ran out of the forest snarling. Startled, Zebediah did what one did when surrounded by animals. He ran for a huge tree, kicking away any wolf that got too close. The pack leader, however, managed to knock him to the ground. Using the natural strength of his race, Zebediah barely got the wolf off him, but not before suffering several bites and scratches. Climbing the tree, Zebediah relaxed, for the wolves could not jump that high. However, the wolves also knew he had to come down sometime, and lay down to wait. Surrounded, exhausted, and beaten, Zebediah lay in a crook of the tree and fell asleep. The full moon's beams, reflected by the pool, shone on his new injuries, which began to shrink and scar over. Zebediah's skin grew furry and brown, furrier than any dwarf's fur should be. The wolves saw this, and knew what was happening.
In the morning, Zebediah looked below the tree, and saw no wolves. Climbing down, he went to the pool. Bending down for a drink, he saw a reflection looking back at him. It was that of a huge, misshapen wolf, brown and with a strangely dwarvish beard. Seeing his hands and the rest of his body, Zebediah realized this was him.Severely distressed at this, he let out a bloodcurdling howl.
Meanwhile in the village, Zebediah's family had noticed his disappearance. Organizing a search party, Zebediah's father gathered the best trackers of the village, and began following his trail. Seeing signs of wolves, they feared the worst. Eventually they arrived at the pool, where Zebediah was stalking back and forth on his new legs. Seeing the lycan, his father ordered his hunters to capture it. Zebediah's new, animalistic mind, grew fearful, and he attacked the hunters. 15 of Zebediah's neghbors, friends, and family were killed before they could subdue him and bring him to the village. In a blind, wounded rage, Zebediah struggled the entire time.
Thrown into a dwarvish prison pit, he clawed his way up, only to be kicked back down by guards. That night, a rare occurrence happened. The full moon rose into the sky for a second night, a sure sign of black magic being released elsewhere. As the beams fell on Zebediah's crazed, twisted form, his eyes were filled with a bloodlust even greater than anything common wolves can experience. Leaping out of the pit, Zebediah cracked his guard's virgins out on the ground, feeding on their meat before throwing the corpses into the pit he had lain in. He then proceeded to destroy every house in the village, kicking doors down and slaying neighbors before allowing their fireplaces to overturn and burn down the buildings. He proceeded through the whole village that night, and at the moment of sunrise, killed his own father. As the light touched his matted, bloody fur, Zebediah broke from his bloodlust. Horrified at the sight before him, he ran back to the woods, leaving his shattered life behind him. It was only the help of a fellow animist that allowed him to regain his sanity and travel to a new land, where he could try to make up for his mistakes.
