A sea monster is known to attack sentient beings during its migration. In the fall it flanks the coast of Vaile; during the spring it attacks areas along the coast of Skalas. During the summer and winter, it is rumored to live at the ends of the world. Survivors of attacks have reported of the monster's sentience; it appears to speak an unknown language and is quite intelligent.
