Thought I'd give it a try.
The current Elves of Skalas are not native to the lands. The original Elves are extinct; most are dead at the hands of the Woras, and the little blood that remains is 'tarnished' by interbreeding. All Elves in Skalas are immigrants that have nowhere else to call home. Therefore, the Elves are few in number, and are struggling to continue their ancient arts.
General:
Elves live in traditional treehouses deep in the forest. They have a venerable respect of nature, and cultivate various plants and mushrooms. They are masters of magic; most Elves know some category or at least a few spells.
Relationships:
- WORAS: The Woras are the Elves' main foes. The ancient Elves attacked the Woras over conflicts over diamonds. Diamond tools and weapons were almost sacred among the Elves, and those who owned them made them stronger through enchantments. The Woras, who had created enough of an upset by mass-harvesting the rare mineral, had informed the Elves, in no uncertain manner, that they were to teach the Woras enchanting or risk war. The Elves were proud and refused; the war that ensued is the reason that there are so few Woras and that the old Elves are extinct. The immigrants now must bear the conflict of old, as the Woras' hostility has not degraded over time.
-HUMANS: The Humans are the newest species to the land, and therefore the Elves are currently analyzing their ways and methods.
-JASKA: As the Jaska keep to the sea and the Elves live deep in the forests, interactions are few and far between. However, Zeratul Eagletongue has a grudge against a certain Jaska....
-DEMONS: Elves do not yet know of the presence of Demons.
