When man first created civilization, Orkus' civilization's were first.
Lately, the two nations of Gormus and Archos have been having horrible wars. These two nations have an abundance of resources that the other does not have, Gormus has minerals, and Archos has lumber, instead of trade, they both simultaneously decided to start war.
The war that ensued devastated the lands, and sent Ariel Fletcher on her journey. The battles would continue in for centuries, until the intense conflict, magical and physical, would sink the continent into the sea. Some will say that divine power caused this, others would say the continent could not support that many dead bodies in the earth.
