I just saw dynmap today and noticed that somebody has been exploring a lot. Don't explore that much! It uses much of the server's memory capacity generating the chunks and stuff, but the main reason is that when the new update comes out I want a jungle biome to generate. Who doesn't want to explore those jungles with possibly some monkeys? I for one want to make a house there, maybe another elven village. You know, using the tall trees as guard towers, houses in mid-air, suspension bridges, etc. There's a small desert with a npc village south of the new town that Arkio built, don't explore past that.

Dude, jungles only generate in newly made worlds. You could explore all the way to where the far lands used to be, and you wouldn't find a jungle.

Because it was built into the new generator to add on to old worlds. In this update, it says it will only occur in new worlds.
