Banana and I sorta invented these on the spot when I got stabbed in the chest to make up why I didn't die.
Args are mechanical devices that enhance or replace body parts. They are anything from mechanical arms to replacement hearts (like I have)
Args are made by Argsmiths. The sacred art of Argery is passed down from master to apprentice. Arkio and Doom both know the skill.
Args can be made from almost any metal, but they always incorporate diamonds. They are sometimes coal powered, and sometimes water powered using bizarre technology.

Sorry, but this seems like way too much tech. IRL, the first successful artificial heart was implanted in 1982.

well berem didnt get a artificial heart did he he got an arg to help the badly damaged heart but yeah you might have a point but i still think args are cool coz they look pretty sick imo.

It's a mechanical invention to keep the heart or other organ alive. People only die if they want to, so the Arg helps with that. As for smoke or other such things, well... meh. That's up to blob.
