The way I thought it was is that you can learn many spells, but only have 5 usable. Also, I was thinking Jaska get a damage bonus in water, and demons heal in fire. In desert biomes, the races except for Woras are slowed down, and weakened (presumably from the extreme heat), and Jungle / Forest biomes increase the level of Elven spells by 1. Humans gain strength in the plains, and do more damage naturally, and take less damage while over 3.5 hearts. When their health drops to 3 hearts, a power boost is given (This Pokemon ability Blaze [Chimchar]).

Whats with the (This Pokemon ability Blaze [Chimchar])? And do they heal when in the fire block? Or if human taking fire damage? Because if they heal when taking fire damage (If they were not immune to it) Then that means they would die slower in lava, since lava does base damage, and also fire damage, and they would heal when jumping out of lava, making it possible to create Demonic Healing springs.

They heal whenever they are supposed to take fire or lava damage, (basically invert the damage amount).

Well, It would be natural, evolutionary, and as there would only be 3 demons (As I believe there can only be 3 overlords, and only they can traverse to the mortal realm) It's not really OP, and it really only makes them better at defense, and mining.

Not really. Think about it. If they get hurt in water, but heal in fire / lava, doesn't that make sense? Water flows normal people would ride down on would be injure Demons, yet lava flows would aid them. And all your water bonuses are perfectly powered, I assume?

So for the cost of one flint and one steel, they can replenish about half their health 65 times?

And with one reusable bucket (almost wrote bukkit, *facepalm*), you can kill people, mine faster, and (maybe, not sure on this), heal also?

No they don't mine faster, they just don't get killed by sudden lava drops and lose their stuff.

Clue. I was talking about the Jaska. WATER BUCKETS. THEY MINE FASTER IN WATER. Demons don't take damage in fire, let's say, and heal in lava. Sound more fair?

Jaska mining faster underwater wasn't meant to be faster than normal mining, it was meant to be the same speed, because mining underwater is normally slow, and that's annoying as hell when making underwater things. I don't think they should heal in lava, I just think they should be able to not take damage from it or fire, but do take damage from water, and if they do heal it shouldn't be too fast.
